ESAL 30" Banjo Clock Weather Thermometer w/ Wood Case, Brass Inlays Acorn Finial
This is one of the most gorgeous pieces of this type that I've seen! It has an acorn finial on the top. Brass inlays down the face. The satin-finish wood case is made in India. I am not sure what kind of wood it is- I had originally thought it was a natural finish cherry wood but I can't be sure. The dials are a hygrometer on top, fully functional battery-operated clock in the center(this is the widest point, just under 8" and a celcius thermometer on the bottom. It has no cracks or chips. A very unique and beautiful piece!

Antique 19th Century Copper Kettle Gooseneck Brass TEAPOT Acorn Finial Dovetail
Up for consideration is this fantastic Dovetail Copper Tea Kettle. I believe this is American. But it could be European. It has a embossed makers mark under neath. I'm believe this dates to the 1800's time frame. The copper kettle is lined with tin that has worn in spots and is hammered and features dovetail constructed. There is a dovetail seam that runs down the back side below the handle, and the entire bottom has a dovetail seam. The bottom has a"5" on it and some other markings(see photo) The handles on both sides are brass with two copper rivets holding the handle in place. The top of the handle is copper and features thumb holds. The lid has an acorn finial. The gooseneck is great and functions wonderfully. You can tell that this piece was made by an expert metal smith. The patina on this is left as is. You could ... morepolish it up if you'd like. Personally. I like the uniqueness of it and only wish it could tell the stories it holds. The kettle is rather large measuring 10 1/4" tall. 11" across from the tip of the spout to the back of the teapot. We are pleased to offer this fabulous chandelier! Dating to the Mid Century. This fixture features exceptional quality and is extremely heavy. It has a brilliant brass frame that features both straight lines as well as curves. There are four curved upper arms which connect to and support the fixture. The body of the chandlier feature 8 panel design. Brilliant brass separates the glass panels. The glass is very thick and is curved inward(concave) It is deeply etched on the top, down the sides, on the bottom with a linear, tri-cut design. The glass panels are held to the curved brass frame with a screw on their upper sections as well as their lower. The brass frame is accented on each panel with an acorn finial both on the upper and lower sections. The ornate center column is brass with an incised twist pattern. It is finished with an acorn ... morefinial on the bottom. There are a total of 17 acorn finials on the fixture! There are eight arms which curve upward from the bottom of the fixture. Each arm houses a single bulb which are candlestick in design. The candle sleeve covers are also brass, not plastic. The fixture retains its original octagon brass ceiling canopy cover. This is an upper end fixture. The quality is superb and the chandelier is simply stunning! It is in very good condition with only minor signs of aging to the brass. The wiring is in very good condition and the fixture is ready to install. The chandelier measures 27" tall and is 17.75" in diameter. Each curved glass panel is 13.75" tall and 5.25" wide. Antique Pair 2 of Acorn or Pinecone Brass Bronze Newel Post Cap Finials Germany
This pair is 3 1/2" high. not counting the screw) 2 1/2" across center, 6 3/4" around middle of acorn or pinecone. Screw is 1 1/4" all the way into the cap, about 1" extends beyond edge of cap. Marked Germany on each. They weigh 9.5oz each. Solid brass or bronze, a magnet does not stick, but it does to the screw part. There is some rust on the underside as shown. These would have many uses, great on a newel post, or a broken pediment on a secretary or chest or bed, on the top of bed posts. The possibilities are endless. I don't really know what to call them, acorns, pinecones, pineapples, or artichokes. LOL just threw that last one in for laughs. Just drill a pilot hole and screw it in.
