Vintage Necklace Large Brazill Nut Slices Cherry Plum Nuts Nylon String Tribal
JB01-ba01-07 Tribal Brazil Nut Necklace Collectible and Fashionable Nut necklace with Brazil nuts as the larger slices. Plum pits, Cherry pits and another smaller nut as accents. This Necklace with it's Tribal feel is awesome. The length of the nylon string is 15 inches. On one side, from the knot to the first bead. The total length is about 30 inches. The largest slice of the Brizil nut is 1-1/4 inches wide. You can see the age in this shot. It's been used but well taken care of by it's last owner. This Wonderful Necklace has the feel of ages! These slices are varnished but not to a high shine. Just enough to protect them from the environment. Some of the edges have faint lines like they were cut on purpose. Perhaps to tell a story? I'm not sure what the other nuts are. Plum and cherry, on this string but I do believe that ... moreall of the beads are nuts, even the tiny red beads. At first glance the little red beads seem plastic but under a magnifier they appear they are another nut or possibly wood beads. Sadly. One of the beads broke at the drill site but on a side allowing the string to slip out. I inserted a tiny piece of toothpick into this drilling to hold the string in but the color is wrong so I didn't cement it. Will leave it to the next owner.
