Beautiful guitar. Sounds good and plays well. 22 frets basswood body, maple neck rosewood fretboard. EMG pickups 1 volume 1tone 3way switch, standard tremolo, but the saddles are babicz( just so we're clear it is not a babicz tremolo, just the saddles) also has grover locking tuners and an earvana compensated nut. The guitar is being sold as USED because it is a completed custom kit. Ibanez S? Saber? HSS Pickups. Locking trem and nut.
I am not the original owner of this guitar. It appears to be an 80s or early 90s Ibanez S or Sabre series guitar. The finish on the back of the neck. Including the serial number, has been removed. It actually feels quite nice and natural. Some players prefer this. For this and other reasons, my guess is this was a players guitar. Although it is in rather rough condition, it actually plays well and sounds good, much better than most"budget" guitars, including those from Ibanez. The neck has medium jumbo frets and feels more like their mid- to upper-range guitars. I have 4 other Ibanez guitars. The trem has a nice smooth feel. The pickups are better than those in most budget guitars. The single coils in the neck and mid positions are a bit hotter than most and sound well balanced. The bridge humbucker is definitely hot. This bridge ... morepickup is not stock. And whomever wired the new bridge pickup also put in a new tone pot- and it works in reverse. Cosmetically, the guitar is rather rough as well. There are definitely some nicks and scratches. The pictures are quite accurate, although in tungsten light, the guitar tends to look like a very dark, almost black, green. Nut and String Tree off of an RG560, Pretty good condition, has some finish wear, but nothing major, tuners have a fre scratches, just take a look at the pictures, they show it pretty well. The spacer for the nut has been modified, someone trimmed a little bit off the edge, It should still work fine, but I'll include another one from a newer model so you if you want to cut the older one in half and have it be in two pieces like newer RG's you can.

This guitar is better for rhythm guitar chugging as opposed to leads, in my opinion. All of the bridge's fine tuners are intact and working. Which ... moreis often rare. The locking nut is all original. Wrench set on back of headstock is also original. Frets are in very good condition. Guitar plays ok. There is some light fret buzz up around the 15th fret. But that's common on these old Series 10. Action is set to a comfortable medium height. Electronics have been tested and work. No issues with scratchy pots. Noises, etc. The bridge humbucker was replaced with a PAF style and the neck pickup is original. Structurally. The guitar is solid as a rock. No headstock repairs etc. There are the common hairline neck pocket separations, but they are purely cosmetic. There is also a little crack by the neck pickup/neck pocket that is also cosmetic. Nothing to worry about. There are of course. Little scratches and dings here and there on this guitar, but nothing ugly. Just the little stuff that adds character and charm. This guitar sounds amazing. Plays well, and looks awesome! Lots of guys use these as wall hangers/art pieces nowadays. A nice piece of the 80's to display in the mancave.
