AC Spark Plug manufactured for experimental or testing purposes
This auction is for an AC Sparkplug manufactured for experimental or testing purposes. As far as markings. AC and the number 1 are in the ceramic. Note that there are no threads or hex. I assume a clamp of some sort was used to secure it in the engine. Its length is approx. 3 5/8 inches. This plug has been used as the inside insulator is darkened. Also. There is a crack in the outside insulator at the top of the plug. Signs of carbon tracking are evident. Obviously. I’m not selling this plug to be used, but for its uniqueness and rarity. For bid is a pair of circa 1930’s or 1940’s CROWN SHRUNK OVERALLS advertising items promoting the quality of the“Crown Point” brand denim overalls produced by the Crown Overall Company of Cincinnati. Ohio. The first is an advertising card and“certificate” of laboratory testing by the“United States Testing Company, Inc. This card is printed with orange and blue inks and advertises a“New Safe Deposit Pocket” in the upper chest area of the overalls. These were pre-shrunk blue denim overalls and the card refers to“Headlight Overalls, too. The card is about 10 1/4 inches tall. The second item is a smaller cloth paper label that that gives information about the durability and“workmanship” of the overalls that were being sold.
