HP 432A RF Power Meter with HP 478A Sensor Head.
Here we have a Hewlett Packard 432A rf power meter with HP 478A sensor head tested and working fine. I've applied signals from my Marconi 2019A into the sensor the results are shown in the photos. Please bear in mind my Marconi is not calibrated. The 432A does drift when measuring low power levels.But in my experience this is usual for this type of instrument. I just leave it switched on for a few hours and use the fine zero switch. There is a plethora of information available on the internet for this instrument. I have found it to be a very rugged and reliable piece of equipment. I'm very happy to accept returns. You are welcome to collect. I purchased this Gigatronics 8651 new in the box several years ago. It has been working faithfully on my bench until one day I went to turn it on and nothing. The front screen backlight comes on but there is no info. No graphics or characters appear. Other than opening it up and scratching my head while staring at it, no attempt at repair has been made- I do not have schematics for this unit. This unit is complete and it is in excellent physical condition. The screen is not all scratched up like many its age. I am including the original hardbound manual with this unit, it is in excellent condition. Nothing other than the Gigatronics 8651A and its manual is included in this auction.
