Although no longer offically supported by Agilent, in practice there is plenty of support available for this. Agilent will still calibrate it, there is the Agilent/HP Yahoo group and the Agilent VNA forums. So if you find you need help, you will have far more support than with Anritsu or Rohde& Schwarz. The auction includes the 85046A S-parameter test set- not the cheaper transmission/reflection test set. The S-parameter test set is much better than the transmission/reflection test set. As you can inject a signal into a 2-port device from either end, without removing the device and turning it around.
