Pink Depression Glass Short Footed Bowl Compote with Gold Rim Trim
Lovely vintage pink glass short footed bowl or compote. Approximately 5.25" in width by 4" in height, with a nice gold double trim border around the outer rim consisting of a wider outer band and a finer inner band. I am not sure of the maker of the blank or if the gold was applied by a different company. I see no chips or significant scratches. The gold is in remarkably good condition, unlike so many pieces that show losses that resulted from years of aggressive washing. This piece was likely kept in a special place for display and simply used& dusted occasionally, as it has been in the 30 years or so we've owned it. If you are the winning bidder.
