An unusual and rare unit. I have been unable to ascertain the exact model number of this beacon[yes. I have been trying to find such on the web] Since the- still attached- foil label has faded out/ stripped of all print. However. I am positive it is the same housing from a TRIPP-LITE RF-6[I suspect it will end up being a model number of ST-6. Or the like] It ain't a 10. But we have no problem rating it a solid 8.5. Even still, the unit looks good up on a shelf or mounted on a vehicle. Further, there are absolutely no dings or dents in the aluminum body or trim ring. The included amber dome is brand new. NOS#T-527 from Trippe Mfg. With only slight scuffs from sitting in the wrapper. No sun fading nor scrapes, and minimal scratches. The unit operates smoothly. no parts rattling around inside. The strobe lamp is fine and the typical"popping" ... morefrom the strobe is rather quiet. and the wiring is all in order. There will be no surprises with this unit. Plug in your power source and you are ready to display it. Please note; I cannot/ will not guarantee the condition of the lamp. as with any lamps. Jarring can cause the filaments to break. This is a single-flash strobe. it does not perform as a double-flash! I have included a photo of a standard two-beam RF-6 alongside this strobe beacon. So that you can see their similarity[seriously. Lafayette KT-208 RF Signal Generator / Audio Signal Tracer
This is a Lafayette KT-208 combination signal generator and signal tracer. Output bands are 250-850 KC. 850-3000 KC, 3.0-11.0 MC, 11-45 MC, and 35-120 MC(which is actually just the 3rd harmonic of the 11-45MC band) You can tell the equipment is old since it is marked in KC and MC rather than KHz and MHz. The schematic for the equipment is dated 1/10/62. The equipment is in pretty good condition, particularly considering its age. There are some small scuffs and scratches in the case paint, but nothing major. Front panel is in good condition; everything is easily readable; There is a bit of a crack in the pointer of the frequency knob. I verified that there is output on all bands; AM modulation works; signal tracer function also works. Output and input are through phono jacks; no cables are included.
