Vintage Woody Woodpecker by Marcel Mens Watch Hand Wind Swiss Walter Lantz 1970
This is a vintage mechanical wristwatch dating to circa 1970. It was an officially licensed product of Walter Lantz Productions. This still retains the original tag and back protector and it was probably never worn. It is in very near mint condition. The watch runs and is accurate to within a minute or so over a period of 24 hours. The case is chrome plated and it is 30 mm wide not including the crown. The case is in excellent condition. The movement is a Swiss made hand winder. The band is a new old stock leather replacement. The total length of the watch is about 9 inches. This uses a 16mm band which could easily be replaced if you prefer a different style or length. The crystal is clean and clear. The dial is depicted accurately in the pictures. Please note that all pictures are taken on the macro setting. This makes even the slightest ... moreimperfections and specks of dust appear much more prominent though they are often not visible without magnification. He was the first to point out certain important observations relating to glacial motion and structure. Among other things he noted the more rapid flow of the center than of the sides, and the more rapid flow of the top than of the bottom of glaciers; described the laminated or ribboned structure of the glacial ice; and ascribed the movement of glaciers to a gradual ... moremolecular displacement rather than to a sliding of the ice mass as held by de Saussure. Numbered correctly 1-6 and are marked Switzerland. I have owned many six jaw bezel chucks in the past but never one with brass machineable jaws. It has plenty of material to machine to your needs, outside, inside or a combination of both. I imagine the brass jaws would be quite useful for holding delicate watch parts without fear of damaging the part. Up for auction is a very scarce Freund Brothers 22 jewel high grade swiss pocket watch. Movement does tick but will not stay running. And only ticks 3-4 times before stopping. Movement is highly unusual compared to most other swiss movements! Case is in bad condition, the back is missing as you can tell but I kept the movement in it since it is the correct case and identifies it! The crystal in domed, rising a full 1/4" from the backing. 2) The center silver plated cufflink is marked Swank on the cross stem and SWISS on the reverse. Dura Ace Tubular 700 c Track wheelset wheels HB 7600 Tufo Dt Swiss Mavic
This is a set of custom built tubular track wheels. The hubs are high-flange Dura Ace 7600 with a fixed-fixed flip flop rear. They are built with double butted DT SWISS spokes. Both wheels are 3x lace pattern. I cannot recall the exact model of the Mavic rims. Perhaps Reflex. They are very similar to an open pro and have a welded and machined seam. Tufo S33 Pro tires are securely mounted on the rims. These are ready to ride. The wheels are in near perfect condition and have very low miles. They were only ridden on the track and had limited use. Lots of life left in the tires. The hubs spin perfectly smooth and look like new. A Dura Ace lockring and 14t cog are installed and included.
