Recent estate sale purchase. A vintage 1970's MARCEL WATCH CORP. 17 Jewel Swiss made pocket watch with an intricately etched hunting scene on the cover. The scene features a very pretty wooded forest with a Setter and a Pointer walking beside their master who has his rifle slung over his shoulder. He appears to be blowing a horn. This watch has a domed acrylic crystal with a thin crack on the left middle center but the watch still works perfectly and it keeps excellent time. It has Roman numerals on the face. An hour hand, minute hand and a second hand with a wind up mechanism. To open the watch cover you press on the top of the winding mechanism. You are bidding on 5 antique original Swiss Schmidt Rubin original K-31 leather slings. These are all original with original sling clasp and button. The sling measures 48" long and is 1 1/8" wide. They could use a little tlc. We have not attempted to condition or clean them. They have different markings on them. These slings were made by saddle makers around Switzerland. After they were made. This clock keeps very good time and the alarm works as is should. The brown genuine leather case holding this watch is in very good condition with only a couple of small scuff spots and its plastic interior moisture barrier is intact. The polished brass clock housing with in the leather case is in great condition with no rust or damage. The dial of this clock is in beautiful condition and the“crystal” covering the dial is undamaged and clear. Welcome! Up for Auction is an adorable Vintage Black Forest wall clock. let me say that I am NOT a clock expert. Please use the photos for the best descriptions. It works very nicely. It has a three hundred and twenty gram weight which I feel is too heavy. Like I said I'm not an expert maybe there's a way to adjust it but it did run fast. There is no attachment between the clock movement and the people. The directions say to adjust either the man or the woman outside the door depending on whether the weather is dry or wet.Maybe that is what controls the speed. This clock is in very nice condition. The only flaw I found in it was at the peak of the roof there is a spot where the paint is chipped off. Also the two pieces of the roof were not on the clock. I used a hot glue gun to attach them so they can be easily removed and repositioned. ... moreI think there is supposed to be another piece of wood on the bottom of the compartment that the movement is in. The George Stockwell 925 Hunter case is in good order with only minor age related marks which can be seen in the pictures. The case bears the London import mark and date letter S(1913/14) GS(George Stockwell) 925 and serial number 277090. There is also a vacant cartouche to the rear cover. The watch is approx. 52mm in diameter. Not including the bow. The dial is perfect apart from a small chip at the edge near 8, this cannot be seen with the front cover closed. The glass crystal is perfect as are the gold hour/minute hands and the blue steel sub second hand. The quality Swiss jewelled movement is in good order and is running strongly keeping good time. Estate sale found antique or vintage"Signal 17 Jewels Incabloc Swiss Made" pocket watch in full hunter case in very good to excellent working condition. This visually looks in great condition with just a few tiny wear spots on what looks like a gold plated case. The positives are the crystal looks mint. The dial face is excellent with no cracks or stains, it has fancy hands, the case looks great with a relief of a hunting dogs on the front and the back in engraved with a fancy design, the works have ruby color jewels and look super clean with no signs of work. The works are marked"Signal Watch Co SO 72 Unadjusted Seventeen 17 Jewels. with no obvious serial number. The case is marked"Signal Watch Co Base Metal Swiss S 366" and there no service scratch date marks on the inner case cover. There are no markings at all, but it's a XXL size as it was intended to be used as overgarment. Sleeve length is 58 cm(22,83' from shoulder seam, and overall length is from collar is 85 cm(33,46' whereas chest size is 63 cm(24,80' from armpit to armpit. Inner pocket on the inner left side. Swiss dismounted pattern fur tornister. I believe this model is actually from the 30's. But could be earlier. Condition is over all good, the straps are alittle stiff, but all are mostly flexible. Both shoulder straps are nearly torn through where they fit to the top of the pack. They will not hold through use, but can be easily replaced. Good fur coverage, only a few bald spots.
