VINTAGE ESTATE RAZOR KNIFE SHARPENING HONE STONE ....?Arkansas stone
Vintage Estate Razor Knife Sharpening Hone Stone.this is from my grandfather's estate.he was from Arkansas and had this forever so it's possible this is an Arkansas stone but I am not sure.I do not see any markings so I am not sure what brand it is.under the dirt or whatever it is on the stone it is a whitish color.it is a smooth stone.there is some nicks along the edges as seen in the pictures and on one of the bigger flat sides there is a few poke marks in the stone(see pics)it needs to be cleaned but since I am a girl and know nothing about these stones I wasn't sure the best way to do that. A unique primitive EZE LAP DIAMOND SHARPENING STONE. It is 8 inches long by an 1.25 wide at the middle and 5/16 thick and 3/4 high at the knurled wooden thumb knob. The thumb knob is ridged and has been attached by glue and brads. It has been cleaned up and the diamond stone has some surface scratches. POLICY.
