There is one brush, one brass patch holder and what looks to be a firing pin to something. Not sure what it is. Look close. The cloth case still has its draw string. The kit only needs a draw cord. Up for auction is an original set of German GEW 88 Commission Rifle action screws. In overall very good shape for their age. They both retain 75% of their original bluing. There is a bit of light surface rust in the long screw threads, but no pitting to be found. The long screw has a German arsenal proof. The short screw has both a German arsenal proof and the number 69 stamped into it. There is some light stripping of both heads but nothing that will affect functionality. The blade is in very nice condition. The finish is blue black with very few scratches. The blade has not been sharpened and has the factory edge. The grips are wood and are not cracked. They do have some nicks and dents. The handle is marked between the wood grips with a X and the letter O or C. The scabbard is leather. An unusual sterling silver naval rifle shooting spoon. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1923 with the maker’s marks being WT. It has been well made having its handle finely engraved with its terminal decorated with crossed rifles and bowl engraved H M S CONQUEST. Hence it was most likely awarded at a Royal Navy rifle shooting event. The Conquest was built in 1914 and served in WWI before being broken up in 1930. So only had a relatively brief existence. It is in perfect condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures 5.25 inches(13.2cms) long and weighs 22 grams. A good quality more unusual Naval example. Australian Bayonet Model 1907, issued in "1943" for the Enfield Rifle
Hello. Item up for bid is a Australian Sword Bayonet model 1907. This bayonet is in overall"Very Good" condition, and even has some blueing still present. The Ricasso markings indicate that the bayonets date of manufacture was April 1943 and was made in Australia by Lithgow and Orange Co.w/ the scabbard being made by Mangrovite belting pty Ltd. for use on the British Enfield rifles. Blade length is 17" w/ an overall length of 21 3/4"The wood grips appear to have no more than slight wear and there is no pitting along the Blade, hilt/quillion or handgrip area.The scabbard has a dent at the frog attachment area, however the remaining portion appears to be in very good condition. Here is a M1907 Bayonet overall length of 21-3/4" with a blade length of 17" Ricasso marked, with Crown, over 1907 over 2-18, with light Wilkinson marking, other side has forward arrow with cartouches, etc. Pommel marked with forward arrow and right wood grip has a marking/indentation of a crown over numbers. British Martini-Henry P-1887 Mk I Sword Bayonet with Brass Fitted Scabbard Type of Manufacture: Original Items Original Item: Straight from our discovery of arms in the royal palace of Nepal. The P-1885 Long Lever Martini Infantry Rifle was initially issued with an 18" bladed Sword Bayonet with a fullered blade and leaf spring on the locking mechanism. This bayonet was later superseded by the simplified P-1887 MkIII bayonet with an unfullered blade and with a coil spring locking mechanism. However. We found a small quantity of the earlier issue MK I bayonets, offered here. This is an original P-1887 Mk. 1 Bayonet with colonial issue brass fitted scabbard. Each sword bayonet and scabbard bears British maker markings and dates and is offered in very good ... morecondition. British Victorian Presentation Infantry Officer rifle volunteer sword sabre
Excellent English infantry officer sword with etched blade bearing presentation inscription related to the 12th Cheshire Rifle Volunteers regiment and dated 31 December 1867. Comes in its metal leather lined scabbard. Despite some minor spots and blemishes to the blade and some tear and wear to the scabbard the sword is in exceptionally good condition for its age.
