Here is a vintage copy of the Tenth Edition, Fourth Printing of The Industrial Press' Machinery’s Handbook For Machine Shop and Drafting-Room By Erik Oberg and F.D. Jones Published by Machinery Publishing Company. Ltd. 1941 The cover is an Olive Green. The front and spine are imprinted in gold with title and edition information. They are textured to look like leather I think actually its paperboard. Covers and spine are intact and in good condition. With edge wear and bending commensurate with age use. The spine has separated from the pages and the pages separated at pages 824/825(see pics) There is a small water stain at the bottom front it does not reach or affect the printed text on those pages. 15th Edition - Machinery's Handbook Hardcover Clean
You are bidding on a very clean Edition No. 15 of the Machinery's Handbook published in 1957. That was a good year because that was the year they made the 57 Chevy. Nice. But not much to do with this book. I won't describe what it contains because if you don't know already you likely will never need one. It has light wear and tear. No greasy pages. Highlights, missing pages, dog-eared pages, or folded or crease pages. All of the section tabs are there and firmly attached. This book sat on the bookshelf of a guy that designed radio components; therefore, no greasy hands. Unusual in that it's page edges are tinted the same color as the cover.

I do not know how to rate or grade books so I am going to describe what I see by looking at the book: Book has original dust jacket. Jacket has wear and rips on edges. Some creases. Spots, and discoloration. Front has large piece missing from top layer of paper. Book cover is in good condition, some wear on edges. Edges of pages are green colored. This area has some marks/stains on it. Some pencil writing on some pages. Inside first page there is a little pulling away of the binding from the page. Inside back cover there are a couple stains.
