This Indicator Base made by Starrett. Model number 657TW Magnetic Base with flex-o-post assembly and the fine-adjustment attachment, is in very good condition. Adjusting take up sleeve with locking nut for maintaining proper degree of post rigidity. The Post Snug has 3/8 and a 5/32 inch holes, but the design allows holding many different diameter rods. A locking lever tightens the internal steel cable to make the post rigid and lock it in position. The magnetic base number 657P has a push button on/off switch, flex-o-post includes adjusting take-up sleeve, post snug, locking Lever, and the magnetic base.
