He're is a great pair of percision tools that have been used but are ready to go back to work. First. Brown and Sharpe*Heavy Duty* magnetic base that weighs alittle over 6 pounds and made in the U.S.A. This mag base is"stout" and has no engravings or initials on it, and has really polished up nice. The on/off knob turns easily and this magnetic base really"sticks" where you want it to. The post reaches up to about 10 1/4" and the stems and indicator reach out to almost 17" The stem that holds this indicator is homemade but someone should manufacture these. It holds the indicator as firm as you want it making it a very useful tool for positioning your indicator. The clamps slide up and down and around easily and lock down tight. Second, a Mitutoyo indicator No. 2416 that has a travel of.001" to 1.000" ... morethat moves freely and easily and always returns to"0" The clears lens has a some scratches and scuffs but you can still clearly see all the numbers. The number dial rotated easily and"brake" works just as designed. This set of percision tools would be a would be a welcome addition to any machinists or millwrights toolbox.
