This level measures about 9” in length by about 1.375” in height and is about.75” thick at the widest point. This is level is made of wood with a brass plate attached by screws covering the whole top and small brass plates covering the tips on the bottom. This level has a mark engraved into the wood on each side that is rather worn by looks to be"Smith" so I presume that was the maker's mark. I bought this level at a car boot sale in England and I presume it was made in England but don't see any indication of that marked on this level.
