Leica Rugby 100 Rotary Self-Levelling Laser Level with LaserMark Receiver
This is a Leica Rugby 100 Rotary Laser Level with LaserMark receiver. These are used for general construction purposes for levelling. This is a self-levelling rotary laser that transmits a visible red laser. Unit is in good condition with scuffs. Marks, scratches and wear from normal field usage. The battery compartment is clean with no signs of damage. All glass appears to be in great shape. Case is in fair shape, it's a bit dirty and scratched up, but it serves it's job to keep the laser safe during transit. Case opens and closes properly and both locking clasps hold it shut. I had to drill some holes on the bottom of the case because there was a lot of dirt stuck inside that was difficult to get out. The laser was tested and appears to be working properly. When placed on a level surface it self-levels and within 30 seconds the ... morered laser begins to rotate. Hitting the power button again increases rotation speed. There are additional features that can be activated as well. See user manual link below. The one thing that I did notice about this unit is that if you let it self-level it at large angle, when you re-position it to level grade you will need to power it off/back on for it to self-level properly. It's best to have the unit as close to level as possible(as per the manual) and then power it on so it properly levels itself otherwise the laser may be sloped. There is also a manual grading mode available so you can adjust the slope of the laser as needed using the arrow buttons on the front of the unit. The laser detector was also tested and works. It detects the laser beam and has two displays(front/back) to direct the operator in the proper direction to reach the level state. It comes with a rod/ruler adapter as well, the screw is loose and falls out of the adapter when the laser detector is not mounted. I do not know when this unit was last calibrated. There are calibration instructions in the manual and it appears that this unit can be calibrated by the end user. Batteries are included in both
