Well we have just taken in a complete Machinist Tool Cart loaded with Model Maker/ Tool Maker fixtures. Measuring equipment, cutters, borescopes etc. We have to empty the top tool box, 2-drawer riser, main roll around base& side drawer hanging cabinet. All keys are with the boxes, all tools are a little aged from sitting but its tool steel so easy to clean up with a little elbow grease. Once the contents are sold the Tool Cart will be listed for auction, LOCAL pick up, but we can deliver to select locations. This stuff is heavy so in most cases we will be using USPS Flat Rate shipping so box size will determine price. We will try to fit as much in a small. Pratt& Whitney Aircraft Dial Indicator No. 81-134.050" Range L.S. Starrett Co. For your consideration is a fine quality Pratt& Whitney Aircraft dial indicator No. 81-134 with a.050" range. This is marked L.S. Starrett Co. It has a jeweled movement and a.0005 resolution. The condition is good with some minor scratches on the crystal. And some staining/residue on the pebble finished back. The plunger does stick and either is gummed up, or has a weak return spring. The movement itself seems accurate, but it will need some TLC to get in tip top condition. It would be well worth it to do this as it is a very fine quality tool. Nice 1 1/2" Face Starrett dial Indicator. Works well repeats and travels smothly. No hiccups or sticky spots.this Indicator shows some use as seen in pics the plastic bezel has some scratches. I tried to get them in a pic. Come with a plastic drawer holder. It has an ID sticker on the side of the housing. Nice shape and will clean up nicely. Please check out my other auctions. Here I have a vintage LS Starrett& Co. travel indicator. Model number D-81 it has a patent# of 9186540. I Googled this number and it came up with an a after it and was applied for patent in 1934. My number has no a after it. The gauge is in a steel and chromed housing. The dial says 0-25-0 One side says plus the other says minus.
