This is a beautiful condition Brown& Sharpe BesTest dial indicator with.0005" resolution and.030" range(0-15-0 on the dial) There is a.080" diameter contact point attached to it(I checked it with a loupe and there are no nicks at all. I think it's carbide) The indicator works flawlessly, extremely smooth& responsive. The cosmetic condition is almost perfect, it looks like it was hardly used at all. There are no engravings or other non-factory markings on it. If it wasn't for a couple of very minor flaws in the crystal. I would have thought it was new. The case I'm including isn't a Brown& Sharpe, it's from a old Girod Tast indicator, but it's clean and will protect this indicator nicely(both brands were the same design) I'm also including a.156 diameter dovetail attachment that's ... morebrand new.
