It has a sticker on it indicating it was inspected on 03/07/1997 which would have been close to when my dad retired. It looks to be in good condition. But these are something I know nothing about. When you depress the thin pin in the back the dial on the indicator moves and goes back when you release the pressure. The pin is firm but bent on the end. That's it. The side has factory etching that reads ANTIMAGNETIC. The same side has hand etching that reads TE 1018. You are buying this AS-IS.
