Up for sale is a high power. Double fin Wakefield 421A heat sink, equivalent to the Aavid HS-218 heat sink. It akes a TO-3 power transistor, and can dissapate 100 Watts, with a temperature rise of 116 deg C. It has a temperature rise of 58 deg C with 50 watt dissapation. The rises are convective in free air, without forced air cooling. The heat sink has a dark finish, as shown in the photos. I have used these for years in a high power amplifier, dissipating 100W per heat sink. They got quite warm, but the transistors were operating within safe limits. There are eight pieces available.
