I just recommend installing this with the screws only and DO NOT over tighten. Just do it enough to keep it firmly in place. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I am only selling this item and everything else because my wife talked me into selling my gaming computer and just getting a 27” iMac. Surface finish is not a light trick- it is smooth and it is copper in color. Nikon Point and Shoot 16MPixel camera rendition. This waterblock mounts with the mounts shown in the auction's photos. You see the hold-downs for the waterblock for the Intel Socket 478 stock CPU socket for the appropriate P4 motherboard. The copper contact patch is 1& 9/16th inches. Or a bit more than 1.5 inches in diameter. WYSIWYG: Thoughts on adapting this waterblock: The 9-10mm. tube flows some water around a core of pure copper in the block's enclosure. With a high flow high output cooling system of the external nature any heated water is removed rapidly. This manner is how I used it. With a 110w.TDP Prescott P4 CPU I never saw 40C ever exceeded regardless of the ambient temp. The hose clamps will not leak on you. The 1mm. wall tube fits so well ... moreit is nearly like a copper pressure fitting once tightened. In a high flow system I am confident a new 160w. CPU would run 40C too. But no lower. The block is rock solid but not the greatest in heat transfer design as in our more advanced later day micro fin designs. Tubing is 9-10mm[ tube wall 1mm. INTERNATIONAL size. Much like 3/8th English. The tubing I used needed no outer coils, so excellent hi-temp industrial Teflon tubing is available for this block in high performance critical applications. At this price you have an opportunity to adapt it to any other socket in the world. Fix it securely in a flush conductive manner to a copper sheet[ 1/4" for example] and fit. Cut& drill the copper sheet with holes for the the socket you have[ 775, 1366, 2011 etc. and screw it down. I say this as the retention bracket is a nice feature to modify for fixing this block to a copper bar adapter of your making mechanically via screws in the copper bar.Okee-Dokee? Thank You for looking at My XSPC Water cooling System. These are the top of the line XSPC components. They were connected up filled with coolant and the system has been on display since March. The components MIGHT have 4 hours of use if that. Includes Memory Block. Universal GPU cooler and the AX240 cooling kit with Photon reservoir. I also put the Radiator on the optional Stand mount, and put a custom grille on it. Radiator has 2 OCOOL no drip quick disconnects, these are really good, they don't spill a drop when disconnected. Led wiring has been sleeved with Red Lutro sleeving and the stock blue leds were changed to red. I have an extra set of red leds and the original blue ones that came with it. Happy bidding! Water block- EK Supremacy Universal CPU Block with Plexi top. This block is in good condition with some minor discoloration on the base that doesn't affect performance. It comes with all required mounting hardware except for the PVC washers but those can be replaced with some other nonconductive material. Radiators- XSPC EX240 Dual 120. XSPC EX120 Single 120, Swiftech MCR220 Quiet Power Dual 120, EK CoolStream 240 XTX Dual 120 All radiators are approximately 30mm thick except for the EK which is 60mm thick. All radiators are in good condition with some minor paint chipping near the mounting holes. Hardware for mounting ... morefans and radiators to your case is also included. Pump- Dual Swiftech MCP35X PWM water pumps with Swiftech dual pump housing. These pumps are connected in series and include wiring which allows them to be run at the same speed from your motherboard fan header in addition to all required mounting hardware. The pump top has some slight discoloration from some red fluid I was using but it has no effect on performance; these pumps can handle almost any system quietly. Fittings- 11 Swiftech lok-seal compression fittings. 2 Alphacool 90 degree compression fittings, and 2 Alphacool 45 degree compression fittings All fittings are 3/8" x 5/8" and are in good to moderate condition. The swiftech fittings have some paint chipping but still function perfectly. I'm also going to throw in 6 Modright 120mm fan silencing gaskets. Tech-Vue Phase Change CPU Cooler down to -35°C (60° colder than water cooling!!)
So. Why am I selling a $1000 unit for only $200? Well, it is used and outwardly has some ware.but mainly because the gas has been released from the unit and needs to be recharged by someone like your local refrigerator or A/C repair man. I've attached pictures of the inside of the unit.my local A/C repair person just said they would need the model number that is typed in purple across the black tank(as seen in the picture) Once the gas has been recharged. You will have a unit that does the same exact work(sub zero-35°C CPU cooling) as it did when it was $1000. You will not find info on this unit anymore online.
