This is a massive bonded fin heat sink that came out of a large VFD to dissipate heat for several IGBTs. This thing can dissipate a lot of heat. The fin density is higher than any extruded sink. I would keep it for my projects but I already have few. The surface corrosion cleans up very nice with some aluminum mag wheel polish. I got another one to a mirror shine. I threw in the $20 to give you an idea of its size. It is 12" x 12.75" x 3.75" and is 14 lbs 11 oz. People use these for all kind of projects like amplifiers and lighting applications.
