I had it from my film days. it has some wear. Look at the photos. a little dust under the element and a tiny cleaning mark far from teh center do not affect the image quality. there is some slight noise when focusing manually, the autofocus works, but sometimes misses in low light. It is a great lens I do not need it anymore. it may benefit from a clean up/ inspection from an independent repair shop.

This is a great camera! I bought it brand new in 2009 and it has 13.275 shutter actuations on it. I've used it in my business and it's been treated like my baby, always in a bag when not in use. It has never been dropped or bumped, never used in the rain, or any in-climate weather, never gotten wet or sandy. This was my back up camera for two years. I am no longer taking photos with this camera. There is no box for this camera or any of the accessories. This camera has been taken to a convention. My initials and the year are on the bottom of the camera and on the battery grip. They have been removed from the lens, almost totally. There's a little marking on it still on the black band of the lens. This will not effect how the camera or lens works. This can easily be removed with acetone nail polish remover and a little brush, I ... morejust didn't want to take any chances with damaging the camera or battery grip by putting liquid near it. I'm not to be held responsible if you use the above method to remove the letters/numbers and you cause damage to the camera body or battery grip. There is no cover for the pop-up flash for when it's not in use. I honestly do not know if one was ever made for this camera. Included in this auction are the following: 1- Nikon D200 camera body including the body cap and rear plastic cover on the monitor screen. There are no scratches on the monitor screen as far as I can tell. I always kept the clear cover on it. Removing it only a few times to clean the monitor and the cover. You can read all about this camera on Ken Rockwell's site. This camera will not hold onto the 10-pin connector cover. I've lost 3, there is one on there right now. I would strongly suggest you remove it before using the camera, as it will get lost easily. I Have for sale a beautiful used Nikon D7000 DSLR camera. I bought this camera in 2011 beginning from Ritz Camera and it has been with me ever since. The camera is in excellent condition with no sign of wear and tear and almost looks new. According to camerashuttercount.com it has about 12377 shutter clicks. All the features work fine and produces excellent images. The reason I am selling is because I upgraded to a D800 and my wife don't think I really need a second body. On APS-C sensor this is a normal~telephoto lens excellent for portrait work. While on full frame it covers a moderate wideangle to moderate telephoto range suitable for most general photography. This lens was extremely popular with the original Minolta Maxxum 7000 film camera and has again come into demand with the introduction of full-frame digitial SLR and SLT cameras from Sony(A850, A900 and A99) for which it makes an outstanding lightweight"walkaround" lens for when you don't want to lug around that heavy 24-70 f2.8 boat anchor. Of all the lightweight 35-70 zooms for A-mount, the original f4.0 version is the only ... moreone with a constant aperture(doesn't darken as you zoom) and also has the best image quality. The lens features a macro mode that while no substitute for a true macro lens, will get you in close(about a quarter life sized) Where this lens excels is in casual photography. It is smaller and lighter than most prime lenses. And only 1 to 2 stops slower. This lens will likely be on your camera most of the time as it will cover most of what you want to photograph. Reviews on dyxum.com confirm that it is an excellent performer on full-frame, though a slightly odd focal length range on APS-C(excellent if you shoot mostly people, not so great for travel on APS-C as it lacks any wideangle on smaller sensors) On full frame, the lens is sharp enough wide open for nice 8X10 prints, and stopped down to f8 will rival the best prime lenses.
