Offered is vintage NUPLA. LOS ANGELES U.S.A. SOFT FACE HAMMER#200 marked with a patent number of 2,501,294(1950) and PAT PEND. The hammer is 12 1/2" tall, the removable ends are 1 7/8" in diameter 1" wide, and the head is 4 1/2" wide, The overall condition is very good with the ends showing little use and they screw on and off easily, signs of storage on the aluminum, and the handle has no cracks. Wilton 4 Pound Soft Face Sledge Hammer, 16 Inch Overall Length
Here for auction is a Wilton. Soft Face, 4 pound sledge with"Unbreakable" handle. Overall length is just over 16 inches. I purchased this hammer perhaps a year ago from Wilton and it's never been used. It has the words"Soft Face" written in large letters on one side of the head in black Sharpie ink. I wrote that so I'd remember. The head has a number of dings in the green paint and there are a few scuffs on the striking surfaces. The green letters on the handle are a bit faded or perhaps they were like that when I received it, not sure. A real nice tool. USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground shipping is quoted. Metocraft 450-SB Soft Bronze 4 1/2 Lb Hammer Non Sparking
Used bronze hammer from metocraft. 4 1/2 lb head in nice shape used only a few times. From the manufacturers site: Type SB: Non-mushrooming/ Safety Type Hammer bronze hammers are made of a special bronze alloy and specially designed cored opening in the head. So that repeated blows will deform the metal inwardly rather than mushroom the head. Danger of flying pieces from a mushroomedhead is thereby eliminated.
