Unusual Looking Old Forged Carpenters Claw Hammer Head
You are bidding on ONE Unusual Looking Old Forged Carpenters Claw Hammer Head. Measuring 5 3/16" long(straight across) The face is 1 1/8" wide, 1 1/16" high, and this weighs 1 lb 7 oz unboxed. Not signed as to the maker, somebody tack welded an H on the one side. Overall this ain't perfect but it sure ain't bad. The face is good, few light dings but nothing too bad there. The ends of the claws have a little wear and chipping but there is plenty there to work with. There is a little paint up inside the claws and the eye that resisted my best efforts to remove it. Somebody did scuff up the top pretty good the last time that that this was fitted with a handle, but there ain't nothing I can do about it.
