We had two chillers with 2 compressors in each that cycled weekly lead/lag so there is not a lot of hours on this 6 year old compressor. The chiller was maintained by trane under service contract and all maintenances were done on time. Compressor was sealed vacuumed and freon 134a put back in out of vacuum by me to prevent moisture getting in it.Compressor was working just fine when chiller was removed.Here's the Bad.The reason for the removal of chiller was circuit two had a busted tube and blew the compressor and flooded coil. A spring in the gate valve in water piping broke and the spring rattled around in the ... moreend bell till one of the tubes had a pin hole. Now this had NOOOOO impact whatsoever on circuit/compressor one which is the one for sale. but i needed to tell you.It was a ins.claim and a new one is running in its place.
