Motor from a Craftsman 10" table saw 113.299040 part number 62680 I got this saw this motor is from recently. The guy I got it from didn't know how to reattach the capacitor removed by his father and didn't want to learn. The mechanical failure that convinced me to part out this machines was that welds to the frame were broken. Unusually for the power tools I work on. This saw was well used. The top cast iron had that shine developed by a lot of wood passing over it. Naturally. I checked the bearings and the blade side bearing was going. I replaced them both with a couple of new rubber sealed jobs. There is some creative carving on the cover to the connection compartment. I think the father didn't understand how the notches on the edge of the compartment worked and enlarged the hole to put power wires through.
