The blade is thick and in very good condition. spotting from not being cleaned for many years. also not bad. a hefty sword! It measures 30 inches Long out of the scabbard. The leather scabbard is present but the tip is missing and the leather is cracking at the last third. The sword will fit into the scabbard and it is very tight. Rare Mola Featuring Chica Jars. Flying Men and Cats- Collected by Ann Parker and Avon Neal. This is a very rare mola design- I'm not sure I remember having seen another one. It is comprised of four oval designs that appear to be giant chicha urns(chicha is the corn beer consumed in village festivals) Inside one urn is a cat. Inside another is a squirrel and inside the bottom two are what appear to be flying long-haired men. I'll go out on a limb and suggest the possibility that the two flying beings are"ansus" evil mermaids. Why not? The design and colors are really strong and quite appealing. For your consideration, is this mint NOS(new old stock) Parker 180 ball pen in the Imperial pattern(groups of lines separated by smooth areas) made of 18 KT, gold plated, metal. These ball pens are almost the same as the Parker 75 BPs. The 180 is a fraction thinner and the clip ring has ridges on the 75 and are smooth on the 180. These pens have no wear. Maybe, a speck or two of oxidization here or there but that will clean up with a light rub. This is genuine Parker USA NOS. Date code for the second quarter of 1937. There's a crack in the plastic at the bottom of the barrel next to the metal cone. But the plastic is tight and the pencil functions as it should. It's otherwise excellent with a perfect gold filled sword clip showing no wear-through. The imprint is deep and clear, and the pencil includes its original Parker lead cartridge. The pencil is fully functional and working. And advances and retracts lead as it should. Carousel early Parker "Alilene Style" track machine real photo 1907 Stonyford CA
Exceptional postcard showing in great detail a carousel merry go round built by C.W. Parker. Probably while in Abilene Kansas, before moving to Leavenworth in 1909. The C.W. Parker Amusement Company billed itself as"The World's Largest Builders of Amusment and Ride Devices" This is perhaps the oldest carousel that I can verify was built by Parker. In the very early days of Parker. He would buy used carousels made by others and improve their mechanical systems and resell them, but this one shown is clearly a Parker built. Things of note are: 1) This is described in Carousel Art No.10 as an early"Abilene style" Parker because it is a portable track machine, meaning the horses were not pushed/pulled up and down on a pole by mechanical arms, but were stationary on a track that turned. 2) There may heve been a slight undulation ... moreof a few inches as the track turned, it appears that the height in the back right is perhaps a foot higher(this undulation was typical of English and early US carousels and it was much simplier mechanically. 3) All the horses are the same design albeit painted individual colors, this is very typical of early Parker, some historians believe his carvers used a Pantographic cutting apparatus to produce the bodies, legs, and head, then doing only detailed work by hand carving. He strated with variations of horse design in about 1913 and expanded the styles in 1917. I do note that 1 horse appears slightly different: the head of the inner horse in the center is a bit lower, but this could simply be a repair or the owner stuck a head from a different manufacturer on a Parker body. Remember, these early Parker carousel were designed to be very portable and light weight(one reference notes a Parker trademark was the wooden horse's head was hollow to reduce weight but did lead to more damage(usually to ears) 4) A wonderful ornately carved chariot, I speculate the people in and around the chariot are the owners and operators. 5) Great military style band organ, probably Parker

Parker Amusement Company billed itself as"The World's Largest Builders of Amusment and Ride Devices" This is a BIG and ornate carousel for Parker. As many were 2 and 3 abreast and design to be easily portable. What I find interesting are: 1) there are 4 small child-size horses below the Parker sign to the left, compare them to the full size horses shown on the right, AND(2) there is a plain wooden bench placed directly behind and to the left of the small horses- I speculate this bench was so parents could be very close to their small children on the small horses. Real photo AZO 2 triangles point up and 2 point down in corners of the stampbox unused est. 1920. Condition is very good. This is a group of 2 Parker 61 fountain pens and 2 pencils. All are USA made. The pens both have good nibs. These pens are not serviced and untested. 1. Black pen with gold filled cap. No dings. No wear, no scratches. Fine nib. A really nice clean pen. 2.Black pen with lustraloy cap. No dings. No scratches. Medium almost broad nib. When I tried to unscrew the barrel, tghe section stated to unscrew from inside the hood. It is filled with old dried ink. The poencils are both in nice condition and both work. Here's a very clean PARKER SLENDER CHALLENGER introduced about 1938. The pen is 4-3/4" long in gray pearl and black. Nickel plated trim shows a little general wear. But not bad. Marked PARKER on the clip and the barrel imprint identifies the CHALLENGER model and has a date code which I think is 3rd quarter 1938. The pen is a button filler and readily takes up ink. Blind cap does have a few(relatively) teeth marks. The nib is a 14kt"PARKER PEN, MADE IN USA, 18" which looks a lot like a first quarter 1938 date code. Unused PARKER & SON, M-1431, 6 Bladed Sandbar Handled Folding Knife W/Box
This is an unused Parker& Son. M-1431, six bladed Sandbar handled folding knife with original box. I have marked the knife used in the condition area only because it was pre-owned. Knife measures approx. 6 5/8" long with main blade open and is 4" long when folded and is 29/32" thick across both handles. Main blade of knife is stamped Parker& Son, Chattanooga, TN on one side and M-1431, Surgical Steel, Made in Japan on the other side. All of the six blades are in very good to excellent unused condition with no wobble and original snap into open and closed positions. The Sandbar horn handles are in very good to excellent unused condition with no crack, breaks or chips and each handle is approx. 3/16" thick. Knife has four brass dividers.
