This is a Test Gauge by Omega Engineering. It is a 0-300psi test gauge. This gauge is used but appears to be in very good condition. We are unsure of the original use but we think it could be steam. Oxygen or liquid propane. The brass and rest of the face we cleaned up but it still has good old patina. We understand this to be all original hardware. The gauge reads from 0 to 300 and we assume it was PSI. It has no bends. Cracks or breaks. A code requirement at a local facility required changing out the pressure gauges on their fire sprinkler systems. This is a perfectly good gauge that can be used for water or air. I believe it is a half inch fitting on the gauge. I believe the photos do a better job of describing the item and will give you a sense of the condition. Please note. As my seller name implies. I am a miner. I do not spend much time cleaning or repairing the items I sell. I may wipe off the heavy layers for the photos and that’s about it. Joseph P. Marsh Vintage or Antique Pressure Gauge 0-300 in Working Condition
This is a very old pressure gauge made by the Joseph P. Marsh Company of Chicago. Illinois. It measures 0-300 psi and has a recalibration function. I tested this using air pressure and it works and is accurate +/ a few pounds. Both the dial and the glass plate are clear of debris and have no discernible scratches or other signs of damage. The needle is straight and moves freely. The black metal casing has a fair amount of shelf wear and some surface rust, particularly on the back. I did not attempt to buff this off, but my guess is that this could be cleaned up and re-painted if someone wanted to use this as part of a piece of steam punk/industrial art. Otherwise it is still very functional and could be used for its original purpose. Approximate measurements are: 2 5/8" x 1" not including the bottom fitting.
