Vintage steam gauge marked The Ashcroft Mfg. Co. New York. This gauge has a black painted case with brass trim and a silvered face. The face and dial are simple in design and has a second hand that is red. The numbers go from zero to seventy in increments of ten. The face also has the word altitude at the bottom. This is neat old ASHCROFT ASHOROFT? water pressure gauge. It reads: KEWANEE WATER SUPPLY CO. KEWANEE. ILL. THE ASHOROFT MFG. CO. NEW YORK REG. U.S. PAT. OFF The gauge reads 0-80. The top is brass and is 6" in diameter. The Bottom part is 6 3/4" in diameter. ⭐ I believe this should be Ashcroft as I could not find anything anywhere on Ashoroft. L. M. Rumsey Mfg. Co. Operated from 1881 to 1917 in St. Louis. They made parts for locomotive steam engines and more. This gauge has some original red paint left. It looks to have been recoated probably 50 years ago. Old clock style indicator hand. Brass and iron. Pretty cool piece. Would be a great decor item.

Here is a vintage/ antique ASHCROFT 4 1/2 gauge up for a NO RESERVE AUCTION& LOW STARTING PRICE. This Ashcroft Mfg. Co. Altitude gauge was made in New York U.S. the number stamped on the bottom of the face appears to be 212C56 but I am not certain about that. Looks like the 1(second number) could have been mis-printed. Check out the pics for yourself. Not that the number is that important but I like to be accurate. An antique/ vintage 200 lbs. Pressure Gauge by The ASHCROFT MFG. CO. NEW YORK, Serial#904987, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. in nice and appealing collector's condition; beautiful brass metal ring with embossed numbered dial brass plate under glass cover(increments of 0, 20's to 200) its seated on top of a weighted cast iron base, which has been mounted on top of 8.5" X 11" solid(oak) wood, it can be wall displayed. The Pressure Gauge measures approx. top/18" diameter, 6.5" across and 2" width/height(on wood/ overall 3" width) Since its mount nicely for display indicates a once treasured item to someone, its an old piece, the brass metal in particular has at least one minor ding and some minor flaw characteristics due to age wear, however nice patina; the cast iron part has a black gloss coating; overall signs indicate ... morepiece has been sitting out gathering bit of dirt/dust for a while, and leaving it up to new owner who may want to properly clean and polish. Up for bid is a vintage Ashcroft 1 inch vacuum and 1 pound pressure gauge. The gauge measures approximately 4.75" in diameter.
