Its very bright and can be seen in direct sunlight as well. I am actually selling this for my brother and I know he stored it more than he used it. It lights up and was working when I had a progammed disc for it, but I do have the software for it, but I really have no idea how to use it. It is a older sign and uses 3.5" discs for the programs, it also has a spot for a older style keyboard so you can hook it up and control some of the options of the sign. You can see it lights up, it does have some dead pixels but still has majority working fine, I also took a picture of the label.
