Thonet vintage chairs low reserve
Selling 4 turn of the century Thonet chairs. Around 1910 if my research is correct. Made in Austria. Which as I understand, is a preferred county of origin to collectors. These were my great Grandmother's and are in pretty good shape considering their age. There is one small damaged spot on one seating surface. Low reserve, I would rather these go to a person who will appreciate and restore them, than make extra money. We are moving out of state soon and need to get them out of storage. LEG-O-MATIC VINTAGE FOLDING CHAIRS WITH RATTAN / BAMBOO BACK MID CENTURY
Nice set of four vintage Leg-o-MATIC folding chairs. Wood legs and back with upholstered seats. The upholstery has been redone. They are in good condition there are a few things that I will point out. Three out of the four are a little tough to fold up. The legs need to be pulled inward in order for them to fold all the way down. There is a crack in one. See picture. The bottom is stamped Nov 1970 so these chairs are 44 years old. They do show some wear but still have a lot of life left. The reupholstery job is very nice with a sage green fabric. Are some minor scratches on the wood. I do not know if the backs are cane or rattan or bamboo. Buyer pays $30 US shipping. The table measures with sides down- 24" X 42" each leaf is 21" by 42" and the height is 30" The overall measurement with the sides up is 66" X 42" This is a great set I have had it for over 20 years and have never really had a place for so it was in a closet along with all the chairs. There are a couple little marks on the table top but otherwise it is fantastic shape. The chairs are also in great shape, but there are some weave breaks, nothing major and they have been there since I bought the chairs. It's a beautiful set. Backrest of seat measures 14" wide by 9-1/4" high and Seat of chairs measure 12-1/2" wide x 12" deep. There is a seam split on left front of one chair and a tear on back rest of other chair. Which has a piece of old red tape over it. I know they used to sell repair kits for this but could not find anything but red tape which I will send along. It appears that white feet on table legs are replacements. This set is in really in good condition for the age and very hard to find in child size especially red just like Grandma's! Just recently got these in& they make a statement. Solid as a rock& in great shape for their age. The base is all solid wood& pretty decent condition. Really well made. This children's table and set of 2 chairs is from the 1999 Marshall Field Alice in Wonderland spring display. My husband worked at Fields for many years and thought the set was unique. The set is hand painted with a distressed look. I shot a couple of up close pictures of the chairs to highlight this. The set was only lightly used and is in very good condition. I have taken pictures to try to show any wear. The table top has a few marks that are very minor. The chairs have 15 inch high seats and 25. 5 inch high backs. The seat is 11 inches by 12 inches. GROOVY GIRLS FURNITURE/2 DOLL LOT- TENT-SLEEPING BAG- 2 CHAIRS- NICE CONDITION!
Up for auction is this adorable groovy girls lot. I have included a cute little(fold flat) tent with windows that fold up and velcro. A camping chair and what looks like a living room chair and a soft colorful sleeping bag. The lighter haired girl has a one piece soft outfit that velcro's in the back. Her tag says dreamtastic by groovy girls. The darker haired girl has a groovy girl tag announcing her name as Oki. I am not sure if her hair is suppose to be short in the front and longer in the back. She has a cute two piece velcro outfit with pants and a top. This lot is in pretty good shape, there are no tears anywhere. There are a few marks(see all pics) and the girls clothes definitely need to be washed. The tent has a zipper which does no longer zips up and down, it also needs to be washed off. Please see all pictures.
