This listing is for a vintage EMPLOYEES ONLY sign. It is used/pre-owned. Please read the Condition section for further details on how it grades. It is pressed steel. I do not know the right terminology to use but the letters and arrow symbol are not within the design of the steel. But rathe, they are laying on top of the surface. As such, the letters show definite wear around their edges. A small part of the L in EMPLOYEES and another small part of the arrow symbol are scraped off as you can see in the scan. This is an old McDonalds Pump and Water System Sign. Company was est. in 1856 and I have no idea how old the sign is. It came off a shed in North Arkansas in the Foot Hills of the Ozark Mountains. The dealers name was O M Ragan Supply Co. The top half of the sign is Embossed letters. The dealers name etc are not embossed. This is an original 5 letter display advertising sign from a CITGO gas station building. Made with metal bodies. And plastic blue face. Inside are electrical wiring and still have their original light bulbs inside. When electrified, a light shines behind the plastic illuminating the sign. See pics. Excellent condition.
