1950s Vintage Matching Pair of Carling's Red Cap Ale Lighted Oval Beer Signs
Beautiful matching pair of 1950s vintage Carling Red Cap Ale Signs Excellent working condition- absolutely gorgeous when lit up. These signs have been rewired. Low profile wall-hugging plugs were installed. Both of these signs were made by The Cincinnati Advertising Products Company- Blue Ribbon Displays. The lettering is slightly different on each sign(you have to look closely) they must have been slightly different models. Each sign measures 9"x7.5"x2" They weigh 2 pounds each. There is some minor paint loss on the gold framed edge of each light-it does not affect the look of the sign. Please look at my pictures and contact me with any questions.

Please be patient there are 22 photos to be loaded in this auction. This auction is for a pair of vintage 1970's Budweiser Beer Advertising ... moresign lights in the original shipping carton. These are made with metal bodies and a plastic covering with a fluorescent light inside. An embossed gold tone"A" with entwined eagle. The Anheuser-Busch symbol, is applied to each light. The carton is stamped. 2 MINI-MODS" and the box is checked for Item No. 050-125(2 Wire) 97200. The cardboard box is discolored from years of storage in an attic; which has done a great job of protecting the signs. One sign has red enamel paint loss on the top to the right of the cord and both have original black factory glued on strip of adhesive on the outer edge that has shrunk from age. Each has factory holes on the back metal plate to hang as a wall light and raised spots on the top ledge to clip on chains to hang as hanging lights. You can see some oxidation on each piece. And some minor surface scratches to the red sign. It is unusual to find a matched pair. And in their original box! These are fresh from an estate on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Vintage Miller Beer Sign Face from Lighted Fixture Champagne Of Beers Signs Hang
Up for auction this older plastic Miller Beer sign face from a completely unusable lighted bar sign. This portion now could be easily hung as a wall sign. When intact. The entire lighted fixture had been left in some standing water to the point that the metal portion was rusting away. Not wanting to have this sign completely thrown out I acquired it and salvaged the signs face. Measures 27 inches long by 9 1/8 inches wide. I managed to clean away a good portion of the rusted residue from the sign and frame sections but there is still some more to go. The right side of the frame has one crack and I secured it for now until it can be properly glued. The sign itself does have some sections that have pulled away from the frame but it still stays in the frame sufficient for hanging. For its age the lettering and logo look good. The back side is ... moreopen but I believe that putting on a back cover would allow you to easily hang this sign. The lighted fixture was originally made by Lakeside Industries Inc. Condition is as pictured. Overall a nice item for the collector or someone who enjoys vintage items around the home. I do combine Shipping.
