VITO 80 industrial in-fryer, oil filtration system
This is a unit I purchased to do demonstrations as an independent rep. It was used on less than 100 demo sales calls and I will include a storage case and several filters. I had three clients that purchased units( the Willard Intercontinental Hotel in DC. The Ritz Carlton in Tysons Corner, VA; and The Jefferson in Richmond, VA) and they all seemed happy with their purchases. I quit selling because I wasn't protected on the repeat filter business and wasn't down for starting over every month selling hardware otherwise I was glad to represent this fine, German built piece of equipment. This indirect-heated FRYER was removed from active service during a week long shutdown in July 2013. It was in operation until the day it was removed. The fryer has two belts. Which can be operated at different speeds for different product. Each belt is 36" usable by approx 34.5' in oil. Infeed down-slope is 4.5'L. Outfeed up-slope is 18"L. Rated at approximately 60,000#hr. Unit is being replaced by an 80,000lb/hr fryer. Belt and belt assembly(including holddown) are in great condition, having been totally replaced summer of 2011. Belt is woven wire with rods on 2.5" centers. Pan is in very good condition and is built of 3/16" S/S. A separately controllable 2 HP 208-230/460V 3ph motor drives each belt. Overhead lift system, fixed to the fryer, lifts the top enclosure and the belt system from the fryer for cleaning ... moreor inspection. Fryer is complete with steam-infeed CIP system. System is sold with all 4" and 8" HD S/S welded and flanged piping and valves which brought the heated oil from another location in the plant to the fryer, recirculated the oil, and then brought water into the fryer for cleaning. Two S/S pumps, a 30HP and a 10Hp, circulate the oil and water. Pumps are located near the 30" x 30" round filter, which is also included with the fryer. Control box is not S/S. Infeed and outfeed each have 3 CO2 horns for fire suppression. OL 40' OW 9'9" OH 10' can be lower if lift mechanism is removed. Fryer appears in quite good condition, but since we are unable to test it, we are offering it AS IS, WHERE IS, Northwest Arkansas. Ref# 52264.
