This Broaster Model 1600 Pressure Fryer was just removed from a grocery store. Most of the equipment from this store was very clean and late model. The cord was removed so it is untested. It looks like everything is intact as it should be. I believe that they used an offboard oil drain so their is no filter tray. They are very easy to get if you need one. Also. Upon further inspection, the motor actually shows this as being a 1PH 115/230v 60/50hz, 1/3 hp. The tag on the front of the machine says 3PH. I wish I could tell you more about it. Broaster Electric Pressure Fryer 240V, 1PH Model: 1600
For sale/auction is an electric Broaster Model 1600. We used this in my restaurant until it closed. This is one nice machine. Cooks up to 16 pieces of chicken in about 12 minutes. Crispy moist and golden brown everytime. We wired this on for single phase because I only had one 2 phase circuits going to my hotside. the larger broaster and my grill got the other circuits) I had an electrician do the wiring but the 3 phase wire is still on the machine just one leg not being used. These are expensive new. I used this as a back up to my 1800 on busy nites and the main broaster on week nites.
