Cosmetically, the reel is in excellent condition with only one small 1/4" rub on the bottom of the case just under the handle. There is also a very small spot on the bottom of the foot. Besides these rubs, this reel is in beautiful condition and presents very well with it's bright vivid graphics and rich black painted finish. This is an original. Vintage Winchester 9533 tackle box. This item was produced during the 1920's when Winchester Repeating Arms produced hardware and sporting goods for sale in their line of hardware stores known as Winchester Stores. This was the largest tackle box in the Winchester line with two removable trays, both of which are included with box. This is pretty unusual as many trays are lost, especially the small one in the lower compartment. The Winchester trade mark is painted inside the top lid. Condition is really very good considering the age and how the piece was used in life. There are the usual dents and scratches from usage, light surface corrosion(but no holes or feathering of the tin material) paint wear. Owner's initials painted on the front. For sale is a Garcia Mitchell 402 salt water that I have complety rebuilt. I have replaced the cam and pinion gears with new/used ones I installed a new bearing and bail assembly along with a new bail spring. All parts were striped and repainted. This fine example has the classi c trademark walnut checkered grips. The guides and wraps are in great shape and the metal rod is approximately 34 inches long and has 2 guides and the tip. The walnut fore-grip and reel are 10" long making the total length of this unique combo 44 inches. The reel is stamped on the bottom serial# 70918A. The reel is in very nice overall condition and everything on the reel functions as it should. There is a nice warm patina on the walnut wooden handle grips. Well you can’t go wrong with this Zebco Model 707 Spin Bee. This reel and box were produced just after 1961 as the box says manufactured by Zebco a division of Brunswick which merged in 61. The box is in great condition for cardboard over 50 years old and the reel looks in remarkable shape as well with the exception of the broken handle which can easily be glued back for display purposes. They are both remind me of a simpler time: walking down to the fishing hole with an American made classic over my shoulder whistling away. Oh wait that’s Mayberry RFD oh well you get the picture. The clicker does NOT work. I am sure the clicker could be repaired but I will leave it as found. If clicker worked the reel would almost be like new. Here is a Penn 209 in very good clean condition. This reel cranks in good. The star drag adjustment tightens up quick, the line release lever works good, and the clicker is loud.
