Most suitable for 3 to 5 weight lines/rods has capacity to handle a DT5 line plus 30 yards of 20lb backing. Can be fished with either left or right handed retrieve by simply spooling line in the proper direction. Spool overrun is maintained by a caliper spring and click pawl which can be tuned by annealing, shaping, and then re-tempering the spring. From the 1924-1926 time frame when they were phasing out the ivorine handle and adding a spare spring and pawl. Winding plate is stamped"Duplicated Mark II" Much of the original leading still exists on the winding plate and spool face. There are no cracks in the original agate line guide. The original ivorine handle is crazed and spins freely. The knurled tensioner works perfectly. Gear teeth and dual pawls are in great shape. Very sharp. Hardy Perfect 2 7/8 - Left Hand Retrieve - Used
Offered for sale is this near new Hardy Perfect 2 7/8. It is left hand retrieve only and comes loaded with a new Rio Gold WF4 line. The reel has been fished approximately 20 times this year. There are a few spots on the rim of reel that have scuffs as can been seen in the pics. Other than that the reel looks near new. I purchased it brand new in 2012. It is the newest version. Rare? Vintage Shakespeare Steelhead Trout Reel 1900 Model HE Hardy Quality NR! This is a very nice. And I think rare, high quality made Shakespeare Steelhead Trout Reel 1900 Model HE. It measures a little over 3 1/2" across in diameter, and about 1 1/4" deep. This is a very fine made reel, and was made as a direct answer to the Hardy reels made in England at the time, but proved to be too costly to produce, so not many were made. Usually you see the 1899 model, but this is a 1900, possibly a larger model, and the only one I have seen. Mechanically and cosmetically it is in wonderful condition, everything seems to function with no issues. The spool is a black color, and the frame has a nice dark brown. I have not cleaned or oiled it, seems to have been fairly well kept. The only thing I notice is a slightly rippled area on the edge ... moreof the frame on the handle side, possibly from a drop at some time, but does not effect the function at all, not touching edge of spool, it turns freely, just want to mention for accuracy, this is a really nice reel. Antique " Hardy " Fly Tackle Box
A circa early 1900s Fly Tackle Box by" Hardy Bros.Alnwick" Metal construction with black japanned finish. The interior is finished in white enamel. The box opens out to an equel depth of top and bottom. The interiors of both top and bottom sections have compartments with metal covers and sliding metal bolt catches. The hinged top cover to the round turret compartment needs to be re-attached( small seam solder) and one of the metal retaining strips is missing from one of the covers.otherwise the interior is in quite good order without dents. The exterior of the box is in good order with one light depression to lid and some small losses of paintwork. The lid has the central oval Hardy name plate. The main hinge is in good condition. Hardy Tournament Line Box + Silk Trout Fly Line The box contained a silk fly line. Bound with silk ties and partially bonded to the bottom of the card box. The line has been removed and inspected. The length is 27 1/2 yds and diameter is 0.030" and would approximate to a#3/4 weight in current ratings. All in very good condition. It has a very slight tack. Strong(pull between the fingers) and is free from defects along it's length.

Unfortunately, the finish Hardy used plagued this series of reels during its entire production. Reel can be fished with right or left hand retrieve by simply inverting the single click pawl and reversing the single screw, double prong chromium line guard. Vintage I'm Nobody's Baby Andy Hardy Meets Debutante Sheet Music Rooney Garland
This auction features vintage sheet music from the movie: Andy Hardy Meets Debutante" starring Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland. The Metro Goldwyn-Mayer picture also featured: Lewis Stone. Celcilia Parket, Fay Holden, Ann Rutherford and Diana Lewis. Judy and Mickey are pictured on the front cover. There is a name written on the front and also a stamp from a store. It shows wear on the corners and edges, and the cover is taped toward the bottom. Really not that bad for its age. A wonderful addition to a collection. Feel free to email with any questions. Original Hardy Bros Featherweight Fly Fishing Reel- Vintage 1960's
H ardy Bros. Featherweight Fly Reel with Suede Case- An original vintage aluminum alloy Lightweight Series reel made by Hardy Bros. In Ainwick, England in the 1960's, and not a contemporary reproduction manufactured in Asia. It measures 2-7/8" diameter, 1" wide and weighs 3 oz. with a usable 50 yards of backing on reel. Left hand wind reversible to right hand wind easily. Adjustable drag with the famous Hardy click. In perfect working condition. A genuine usable collectible. The Featherweight was the second smallest of the Lightweight Series Reels that Hardy made. This early original Hardy model has two screws instead on one on the line guide. Which is reversible when switching to right hand wind. The engraving on it reads: BRIT. REGD. DESIGN 895921. There are no dents or issues. The reel seat is solid without any give. The ... moreworn appearance is just superficial wear from use on the original gunmetal finish. I am the original owner of this very well made reel. A brown suede and lambskin case is included.

This rare Hardy Bros Anglers Knife No 3 is in lovely condition for its age. Please note the colour is silver. Not brassish as it looks- just my artificial lighting sorry! We don't need to tell you all about this- just the name says it all. Scissors are in excellent condition. Other steel tools have varying amounts of minor surface rust.
