This is a Vintage Sage GFL 896 RP Graphite 11 Fly Rod in excellent condition. It includes the original rod sack and tube. I bought this rod new from Mickey Powell at Buz’s Fly Shop in Visalia. Ca. many years ago. It is one of seven superb fly rods that I own. It is 9’6” in length and weighs 4 7/8 ozs. It was made to throw a#8 fly line however, I really like the way it handles a#9 wf taper. This was my gamer for chasing steelhead on the North Fork Umpqua River and it is still in absolutely first class condition.I will include a Cortland 444sl wf9 floating rocket taper and an SA ultra 3 wf9 floating/sinking steelhead 1V taper.

This is a 5-weight. 9-foot, 4-piece fly rod that has been lightly used, but is in very good condition overall. This Winston fly rod is in beautiful condition overall. The rod looks to have been“lightly” used. And all four rod pieces look great– with light sign of wear. Everything looks nice around each ferrule and guide and the hardware is also in excellent shape. The cork grip shows very light discoloration simply due to normal handling. This rod comes with its original rod sock and tube. The rod sock does have the rod weight and length written in marker(see picture) There are no other markings on this rod. Sock or tube to indicate is a Rep Sample. The fastest-action 5-weight Winston’s ever made. This 5-weight rod is ideal for big trout and smallmouth bass. Winston discontinued the BII-MX model just this year– to many anglers dismay. VTG WRIGHT & McGILL GRANGER 8642 Bamboo Fly Rod 8 1/2' STREAM & LAKE
The Granger 8642's have got to be the most iconic western taper bamboo fly rod in history. I like them because they are very versatile and can cast in all situations including when the winds pick up and will fish a 5 or a 6. My story this past summer included my first outing with an 8642 Special and was 3 days on the B_r River in Montana. We fished the upper head waters for up to 16" Cutts and the Special was a ball. Then we fished lower. Larger waters for nice sized, hard fightin' bows. I could not believe that I was making 60' casts with a hopper in the wind. Later in the day I switched over to a nymph rig and was amazed at how well it could mend the line. I even fished streamers with the fear of nicking the rod but it performed flawlessly. Now I don't know about you, but that is the type of waters that I normally fish, ... moremuch more than the dainty little creeks. I am having a hard time fishing with graphite again! This rod is very nice. But has a couple of minor issues. One guide on the mid has been re-wrapped with the correct scarlet red. It was done nicely and other than it looking slightly newer than the rest of the wraps, you can hardly tell. One tip had a splinter on the top 6" and has been wrapped in clear. It is even hard to tell in the pics and should fish like the other tip, which is excellent. The finish on the rod is near flawless and shines like new. The pics show the condition of the grip and seat. Ferrules have a nice fit. Sock is original but the tube is a few inches longer than the rod. Lot of 13 Bass Pro Shops Hobbs Creek fly fishing rod and reel cases. Approximate dimensions are 28.5" long with a 2.5" diameter. These are all from a lot of returned merchandise from Bass Pro Shops. Most show very little wear and I tested the zippers and all work smoothly. One has the name Mike written on it in Sharpie and two have what looks like coffee stains. Two or three more have some dirt on them. I believe that these were part of a package sold with a rod and when the rod broke. The customer returned the rod and the case. Just my best guess. These items are sold AS IS, please look carefully at pictures and ask questions if necessary. These are very nice embroidered cases.

Fenwick 9' 2 piece HMFX 9010-2. Rod is in excellent condition. Only used once for salmon. Comes with a plastic hard tube and a rod sock. The case does have some scratches from the one trip. The rod is mint. The reel is a Pfleuger 1990 9-10 wt. Features include mid size arbor design. Cold forged and machined aluminum frame and spool, oversized ball bearing, rosewood knob, and uni-lok roller clutch bearing. It is also mint and has backing and Cabelas 10 wt. prestige fly line spooled which i will include. The reel also has a protective cover. The only thing that is blemished about the reel is the box. It has a little damage from being stored empty.

Classic 7' Bamboo Fly Rod by Charles Grove, Maker 2/2 With Bag And Aluminum Tube
I have not been able to find out anything about Charles Grove. The maker. This 7 foot, 2 piece, 2 tip rod is beautifully designed and executed. The cork cigar grip tapers to a cork reel seat with two sliding rings. The cork has no chips or gouges. Both tip sections are 3/4" longer than the butt section, looks like the rod may have been built that way. All sections are essentially straight. The ferrules are"popping" tight. The female ferrule on the butt has a soldered ring welt. The stripper guide has an artificial agate liner. The snake guides are pristine, with transparent wraps. The rod is designed to cast a 4 weight line. I have not put a line on it but in flexing it feels like a good dry fly rod. This rod is in excellent condition. It comes with a cloth bag in a good quality aluminum tube.

This is a Scott 2 piece graphite fly rod model G1008. It is 10’ in length weighs 4.0 oz. and is balanced beautifully with a#8 fly line. I had the rod made by Scott Rod Co. While they were still making rods in San Francisco. It is in immaculate condition with the exception of a minor scuffmark on the real seat ring, which could be remedied with some touchup paint. Exact item shown. This is a bamboo fly rod that assembles in 3 pieces. I weighed the three pieces on my postal scale. It weighs 5.4 ounces. Each piece is 35 inches long. Near the handle there is a decal with H-I and a fish, and another decal that says"Spinner" The cardboard tube is black. Steel ends, good condition. The rod is in a greenish fabric bag with separate compartments for each rod component. I don't know anything about fly fishing. I have tried to describe the rod carefully, I see no damage, no wear, no stains, etc. There is some darkening of the cork handle from holding it, and a little wear on one edge of the decal, othewise to me it looks absolutely like new. You are bidding on a gently used Sage FLi 476 7'6" 4 weight, 2pc medium-fast action Fly Rod with tube. It is a very good rod for small to medium size streams. Towards the handle of the fly rod you will find"Z14579" written on it. There is a cocobolo wood insert at the reel seat. The fly rod is a copper color with brown wraps around the guides. The tube is brown. It is in very good condition! The grip shows some very light stains. My husband builds his own fly rods so he is selling the ones that he bought. Please feel free to ask questions.
