This is a used reel featuring graphite frame and aluminum spool. BB, magnetic brake, thumb bar release and 5.1:1 retrieve. Holds 12/100. Weighs 7.9 oz. Cleaned and lubed, fully functional. It’s a great caster; I got over 50’ easily with a 3/8 oz weight. This one was assembled in the USA and has a foot number of 89-0 89-90. There is some rash on top, but the printing is pretty sharp. The reel on the left has a lot number 760584 on the bottom of the foot, and shows light cosmetic wear with a few chips on the rims. The reel on the right has more wear. The lot number is 760803. Good cranking with a solid anti-reverse. H as a good freespool mode with dual manual backlash controls and air-brakes. Has a good working drag. Up for your consideration is a fine example of an Ambassadeur 5000C De Luxe. This reel is in excellent shape with just some minor rubs on the sideplates and a touch of paint loss on the rim. The gold plate is bright and shiny. Based on the serial number this reel was probably made in the early to mid 70's. Someone has changed the handle at some point. Was like that years ago when i purchased it, which is why I have set the price where I have. Those can be bought for very little. these are SUPER hard to find, especially in this condition.
