This is a daiwa saltiga z6500 dogfight reel. That I purchased about a month ago. It comes with box and manual and everything that was included originally. I paid $1100 for it and have used it on one trip. I upgraded the drag washers to carbontex washers and spoiled it with $100 of 80lb braid. I found the reel to be too heavy for the size of fish I target. It works perfectly. It has a few small scratches as you can see in the photos, but they do not effect performance. This auction is for a used Daiwa Saltiga 50 casting reel. This reel has some cosmetic wear but is fully functional. I'm including a set of carbontex drags and a small container of Cals reel grease. These drag washers were previously greased but I do not believe were ever installed in this reel. The drags which are installed are perfectly functional. Although many anglers agree that carbon fiber drgs are much more consistent across their range. As shown in the pics there is some color loss on the clicker side of of the spools skirt. This was due to thumbing the spool across the skirt while casting.Castability on this reel remains very good. There is some corrosion near the foot of the reel. This does not affect the reels performance. There is also a jigging knob installed on the cranking handle. Which spins as it should.
