The 2nd and 3rd photos are each end of the box The box is 89 x 12 inches. Probably between 85– 105 poles total. There is no manufacturer warranty on these poles. And the label section, just above the handle, has been partially removed by St. Croix in order to mark them as such. This is just the label/epoxy that has been removed and purely cosmetic, the pole has not been damaged from this according to St. Croix. The ... morelevel of damage varies from pole to pole and box to box. And I can’t go through the boxes as I get too many of them and there are just too many poles in them. I also don’t fish so I’m not an expert on them. It is best to assume they are for parts or for repair by really experienced pole craftsman who fix broken poles. I have two 6 ft. long fishing rods. With reels, and both are working. I bought these at an auction, and they are for deep sea or deep water fishing for large fish for sure. I have never used them, I do pan fishing only, and we just don't have a lot of places here in Arizona where we can go deep sea or water fishing, at least not that I'm aware of anyway. Both rods are in very good condition, same as the reels, and I will describe what I see. The first one has a reel that reads; MADE IN U.S.A. PENN PEER NO. 209. The rod reads; ST. The tip was broken off, and the rod was returned to the St. Croix factory, where is a new tip was put on at the place where the break occurred. 1.5 inches of the rod broke off, so instead of being the original 6'10, the rod is now 6'8.5. About 12 years old but in good shape for their age, the normal wear you would expect. One handle has a couple more pits than one might expect but nothing major. The only two issues is that one rod is missing the main guide on the bottom section and the other rod is missing about an inch and a half from the tip section. Nothing else wrong with these two rods. There are some scuffs and scratches and the handle shows wear, especially the very butt of the handle. However, the rod is structurally sound and is a beautiful custom rod. Its rated for 2-6lb line but I think its underrated. I used 8lb main line and 10lb main line without a problem. Soft enough to protect light leaders but has plenty of backbone to land a Great Lakes river salmon with ease. Has oversized guides(including the tip) making it a great cold water rod.
