Up for auction is a NICE ABU GARCIA AMBASSADEUR 7000i FISHING REEL. This reel is in very good condition with no corrosion. I don't see any scratches or chips in the red finish and the handle reels smoothly. There are a couple of marks on the handle which I tried to capture in the photos. Up for your consideration is a fine example of an Ambassadeur 5000C De Luxe. This reel is in excellent shape with just some minor rubs on the sideplates and a touch of paint loss on the rim. The gold plate is bright and shiny. Based on the serial number this reel was probably made in the early to mid 70's. Someone has changed the handle at some point.
