Up for auction is a very nice Abu Ambassadeur 5500C baitcasting reel. The reel was made in Sweden and is so marked. There is serial number on the foot. Which is 750202. The reel is in excellent condition. As can be seen in the photos, there is no rash on the side plates on this reel. There is one tiny spot about 1 inch under the"High Speed" label on the crank side. It is about 2mm and I cannot feel it. I have tried to show it in the 1st and 2nd photos. Please take a look at the enlarged photos, as they accurately depict the cosmetic condition of this reel. Mechanically, the reel in in good working order. The action is super smooth and the release, level wind and star drag mechanisms work fine. You are bidding on 3 vintage Abu Garcia's. These will need some work so please look at all the pictures. First everything is there on all 3 reels. The green 5000 works as it should and will need to be greased and cleaned and that is it. The blue 5600C free spool button won't stay down but should be an easy fix other than that drag works and reel will need to be cleaned and greased. The Blackmax has the same problem its free spool button won't come back up by itse lf but will disengae with some help. Other that will need to be cleaned and gre ased. Vintage Abu Ambassadeur 1500C, Boxed In Excellent Condition-L@@K!!
Up for your consideration is an Ambassadeur 1500C in excellent shape. Serial# 771100. There are a few dings around the top and bottom of the sideplates along with some minor blemishes on the non handle sideplate. It has the very rare small twin black handle on the reel and a single handle as a spare. Everything you see in the pictures is included. The box is in good shape. In one pic it shows a cut along the top side that has some scotch tape on it. Mechanically the reel works great. Any questions please ask and thanks for looking. Very Nice Abu Garcia Cardinal 962 Ultra Light Spinning Fishing Reel W/Manual Vtg
It’s been used very little and has been well taken care of. The exterior is very clean. It has no signs of abuse such as scratches. Rubs, mars, etc. except for some boat rash on the handle. I see no screwdriver marks on any of the screws. All functions such as the reeling action. Drag adjustment, anti-reverse, bail, etc. work smooth, strong and sure. Other features include left/right hand retrieve, folding handle, extra large drag washers, high speed retrieve, it does not give the gear ratio) graphite construction, a ball bearing drive system, and a“quick-fire” bail trigger. You also get a Abu Garcia Cardinal Reel Manual and Casting Tips Booklet.
