The silvermax works but I think the braking system is defective. The ambassador needs to be repaired as well. It isn't working. Both are minor repairs. These are older reels and have quite a bit of ware and tear on them but easily fixable. I'm just looking to get shipping cost because I don't need these anymore. Lot of 5 vintage fishing reels. 1 ABU Garcia 460, ABUMATIC, string comes out O.K. could use restringing, Has both drag and manual reverse, The drag is working as its set but the roller setting that tightens and loosens the drag seems to be stuck and I didnt try to force it to turn. 1 ABU Garcia 440, ABUMATIC, Again the string come out O.K. and what im meaning my O.K. is it comes out with little to no resistance but catches after awhile. And again probably just needs restringing, Has both drag and manual reverse and the drag setting works fine on this one. 1 Zebco 700 HOSS, I have never heard of one of these reels before, I seen only 1 on all of ebay, I might not have been looking in the right place but? I noticed that some guys make a big deal out of a TEAR DROP BUTTON, This has one, The string is stuck inside and wont pull out unless you ... morehold tension on it and hit the button over and over, Then it comes out in spurts, Easy actually, but then hangs up again, Someone has put heavy line on it, Maybe to heavy, Im sure a restringing would fix this too, Has two screws holding the cap on to untangle and I didnt push getting the screws out to see whats up. String does come out and reel back in but jerky, 1 SHAKESPHERE, The silver one, Says 2 ball bearing system, SYVERGY ALLOY, Not sure what that means, This one would cast great, Nice and smooth on release, Drag works fine, I think you can change the handle to either side for right or left handed, Looks to be a nice catfish or bigger fish reel AND 1 reel that is a trigger finger release, Says US80XA, String comes out very smooth, No resistance or hang ups, bet you can cast this one all the way to grandmas house! Lot of four old fishing reels ABU Garcia , Quantum TRA Lite, etc.
Offering the following collection of used fishing reels and being sold as is. As found from an old fisherman's cabin shelf in northern Vermont. 1. Ocean City Reel Model 1581; appears to be locked up. But I am not familiar with fishing equipment, so maybe the fix is simple-jet in some 3-in-1 oil, etc. 2. Quantum XTRA LITE model reel. Probably should get some new line. But appears to be working fine. Is also marked"high speed" A few a few scratches, signs of use, so that is a good thing. Keep catching fish with this one! 3. Abu Garcia Model"Cardinal 764" Has some marks.scratches based on use-and is also marked"High Speed Retrieval" 4. Don't know much about this one. But it come with the lot. If I were to keep it, I would paint on some naval jelly, rinse, hit it with a coats of chrome spray paint, and hook ... moreit up with a rod, and catch some fish. A medium level mechanical person could probably get this working. The switch button on the side doesn't seem to want to move back and forth, so maybe this is another one that needs some 3-in-1 oil and a little fidgetting to fix? Good luck to bidders. When I retire in a few more years. I'll be keeping reels like this and having fun trying to get them to work and bringing them back to life. For now, someone else can have the fun.

For sale is a pair of vintage ABU Garcia 1000C bait casting reels. Both of these reels(and another one very similar to them. That I have listed separately) were still fishing when I traded a buddy out for them several years ago. I have done nothing to them, not even clean them up. I make no assurances as to their working condition if you want to fish with them. They are old and loose and a bit stiff when you crank them but everything seems to operate properly. here is a lot for 3 Green Abu Garcia reels. They have a lot of scratches on them. But they work fine. They are not as wide as the 5000 series. All three are the same, which is nice to not have to switch to another reel when fishing. Retrieve is 4.7 to 1 All have serial number of 85-0 I believe that means they were made in 1985 Please look at other auctions. Getting rid of lots of reels from the past.

2 vintage spinning reels. Abu Garcia Cardinal 753. And Penn 716Z. Both reels are well used, and show a good amount of wear. Please take a good look at the photos. Both reels also need some repair. Both seem to have a problem with the bail. On the Penn, the bail is not wanting to click all the way over when reeling. On the Abu Garcia, the part that holds the whole bail assembly is loose. There is also a clicking noise when reeling the Abu. Besides this, both reels actually reel pretty good though. I cannot say what is causing the problems with the reels, and if they are an easy fix or not. We are not experts on the inner components.
