And all the cast iron pieces have a wonderful hue to them, not painted, just scrubbed and sealed with a quality poly, which the glass top allows you to really see in every day use! Here is a nice old wood table top or wall hanging small curio cabinet display shelf. Stands 17" tall to the top of finials on top. 14" wide, and 4 1/2" deep. Three open shelfs on each end, and three shelfs in the middle with a glass door. Four wood feet are the same design as the finials on top of cabinet. I'm not sure what kind of wood it is. I would say the finish is a darker oak. Shelfs and frame is a good sturdy wood, the backing is a thinner type. Around 1970 I was heading East from Ft. Collins Colorado on spring break. When I turned off the highway to find a local place for lunch. I ended up in a town with dirt roads, no food, but it had a general store going out of bussiness. To make a long story short, they had one wall and counter cramed with kerosene lamps and parts, most new, but very old stock. I had a hard time finding a phone, but I called my dad and he told me to buy everything that was made by Aladdin. My dad is ill now and I am selling off his collection before we sell the house. Over the next few months I will be listing his lamp collection on Ebay. A lot of Aladdin, many unknown brands and railroad lanterns. Up for auction is a Green Moonstone glass Aladdin Kerosene oil lamp font. It is for a table top or hanging fixture and is in very good condition.

Late 18th Century Plain dish-molded top over birdcage support tenoned over a compressed-ball pillar terminating in triform snake feet Item# 130002YRW19 This is a fine American Queen Anne Antique Tea Table crafted during the last quarter of the 18th Century. Probably in the Connecticut River Valley. Of wonderful form and proportions, this very attractive piece is pure and relatively undisturbed, the finish being the only change over the last two centuries. Characterized by simplicity and a compression of lines, the design carefully balances the visual weight of the spherical top and oversized birdcage by squeezing the baluster as close to the legs as possible, perfectly dividing the mass of the table away from the midriff. Crafted of two solid Cherry boards joined nearly seamlessly, it was lathe-turned patiently and with great risk to the craftsman to produce a raised molded edge of the solid. The cleats are affixed to the underside of the top with symmetrically spaced original and undisturbed screws, these flanking the birdcage box structure that allows the top to spin freely. The birdcage is crafted with complex and possibly unusual construction, four baluster turned pedestals joined into the square(unidentified, possibly pine) softwood top and through the cherry bottom, the latter tenons wedged with splints for a pressured joint. Four iron bars penetrate at an angle down through the top and are twisted under the bottom, giving incredible strength and permanence to this delicate structure. Vintage Antique Desk Table Top Pocket Aneroid Barometer Visible Movement Brass
You are considering bidding on a vintage aneroid barometer. There are no visible makers marks or model numbers so it is kind of a mystery piece. It has two legs on its bottom so that it can easily be displayed on a desk or table which seems to be what it was originally created for. There is also a ring on top for wall hanging if one so chooses. There is a glass screen that covers the barometer but there is an opening in which you can see the brass mid-section that drives the needles. It measures about 3" in diameter and 1.5" thick. It appears to be a polished brass finish. There is some light pitting around the perimeter and some yellowing inside the glass case. Otherwise good condition. Please see photos for more detail. Gorgeous Antique Vintage Vanity Table Top Mirror Stand Up Mirror Ornate Floral
Beautiful antique vintage dresser vanity table top standing mirror. Very unique! Painted mirror with wood back that has a very ornate looking design in a clear plastic that looks like glass around the edges. This has a floral design to it. The flowers and frame are held on with pins. The bottom right flower has a pearl pin. The pins and maybe even the pieces o the frame could use a dot of crazy glue on the tips so they cannot come out causing the flowers to come off. This fact does not in any way detract from the beauty of the mirror it is simply a suggestion of mine that seems practical since the flowers can currently come off if pins come out. It looks like it is made of walnut and has a"turtle top" with plumes at the hips of the cabriole legs and a center finial over the shaped x-stretcher. The casters look to be brass encased wood. Very elegant and well build construction feels solid and sturdy and will support a lot of weight. Due to the cabriole leg design the table can fit in small areas because the diameter of the top is larger than the bottom which allows you to put an armchair very close ... moreto this table without creating crowdedness. The table is covered with a piece of green onyx and is pretty heavy. Item is in original unrestored condition and in very good shape considering the age. However as any antique item it shown some imperfections. Which just add a vintage charm and character and will not affect the value. The original gilding has some reticulated cracks. The wood has a few splits, some pieces of the ornate foliate design are missing. I appreciate this look and would not recommend to destroy such time marks with"restoration" The table is about 29 1/2" high and 24" in diameter at the widest point.
