I believe it was manufactured in the late 70’s to very early 80’s. The serial number is 30465308. Because of its age. I was pleased that it worked at all. It does play tapes. The tracking works and the counter does rotate. I could not get it to record. But that could be operator error. This machine passes analog video when turned off or other operations are used. The clock. AFT LED, UHF backlight and cassette compartment lights work. The only light that does not illuminate is the VHF backlight. Because broadcast TV has changed to digital. I have not been able to confirm the tuner’s operation. The case has cosmetic issues as I tried to illustrate in the pictures. I would rate its condition ... moreas fair. Because of its age. Up for sale a total of three Motorola XTS5000R UHF 48 channel portable radios in the band split 380-470 MHz with a model number of H18QDC9PW5AN and Flashcode of 140001-000002-1. Radios are in excellent physical and working condition but have some paint pen markings on the front of them. Radios will do both wideband and narrowband channels and will do analog as well as P25 digital conventional and are secure(encryption) capable. Radios are also FM rated and are intrinsically safe if used with and FM rated battery. Radios have been tested and they transmit and receive just fine. These are great radios for Police. Fire, EMS, GMRS, HAM, Business, etc. Radios comes with Motorola UHF antenna only, nothing else. Batteries and chargers are readily available here on Ebay at good prices if needed.
