Midland UHF walkie talkies and charger
One pair of Midland UHF HT's. These units only have one channel programmed. I don't recall the frequency but believe it is in the current GMRS/FRS range. They both have the same frequency so they can talk to each other. I used these for a while several years ago and they've been sitting in a box since then. I have not been able to test them but I would assume the radios are working. I would not expect the batteries to hold a charge.

Unit kept in very good condition and includes the power cord and the built in antennas that are both straight with no bends! We used this occasionally and never used its full potential. You can set scan speed. Auto or manual scan and has the standard volume, Squelch and scan rate adjustments. The top opens if you want to adjust the bands. Made in Japan, the rear has external hook ups for speakers of 12v 3 pin cord(not included) Freq range– 30-50 MHz, 150-170MHz and 450-512MHz. The only visible defect are the clips that hold antennas– they both have a chip but does not affect the antennas at all. Vintage Midland LMR UHF Radios, chargers and batteries
Here is a LOT of"Vintage" radios that were recently removed from service and sold as part of a bigger lot of printers etc. There are: 2 Midland 70-295-16B UHF radios. 4 Watt. 16 channels, 450-470 MHz range. I don't have anything to test them on, but once I charged up a couple of the batteries, both radios gave the 3-beep transmit indication and the tx/busy light came on and a crackle is heard over the speaker. 2 lapel mics model 70-M95. Both keyed the radios as above. 3 Battery Charges model 70-C95. 2 of them charged batteries fine. And seemed to work on both rapid and normal settings. The third came on, but a couple of the contacts are bent and the battery doesn't go in correctly, should be an easy fix. 6 Ni-Cad batteries model 70B75A. I've charged a couple. Didn't try them all. I don't know if any hold a change, ... moredidn't hold or load test. There is 1 stubby antenna with the cover broken off. But since I didn't have another one I really couldn't test then against each other. Since I really couldn't test them completely I am selling the entire group"AS IS- Parts or Non-Working" I am starting the whole thing off for about the going rate of a single charger. According to specs this rig is currently set for 470-494 Mhz but can be reprogrammed for the Ham bands. This radio platform is widely acknowledge to be one of the most bullet-proof and reliable designs ever. With the audio quality unsurpassed even by newer, much more expensive Ham 440Mhz radios. Syntech radios are still in commerical use worldwide and are highly sough-after by amateur operators. The base unit work from the 13.8 volt side. I have not been able to get it to power up using the AC power cord. Might be a internal fuse. I posted a picture using my Frequency counter using a rubber duck attached to my counter. The Freq is close to what these rigs are doing. I didn't want to connect my counter to a rig putting out over 30 watts. These rig are used and have the normal scratches and wear and tear. No mobile bracket or power cords for any of the radio's. I only had 1 and it goes to my other midland radio. All of the radio have the midland hand mic's and the Base unit has the Midland Desk mic as in the pictures. All of the radios have been bench tested for power output only. This auction is for ALL 8(eight) radios. 1 base and 7 mobiles. I purchased these from a school in Texas they were used in the school buses and Bus garage office to communicate with the Bus drivers. I bought these to convert to ham 440Mhz.
