SEARS ROAD TALKER 40 SSB CB RADIO BASE/MOBILE 40 CHANNEL
I don't have a way to fully test this unit. But it does light up and the channels change etc. Since it is a single side band unit, that should give the new owner more communication options than regular 40 channel unit. Not sure who made these for Sears back in the 70's, but this is one stout radio; weighs like 9 pounds or so. Set up to be used either as a base station(110 power cord included) or a mobile unit with the under dash bracket. Owner's manual comes with it. I don't have the 12VDC cord for it, but it's pretty simple to rig one up. I have 3 or 4 microphones that would work on it, but I don't think any of them are the original.
